This lush-coated stuffed toy dog has been well-loved over the decades and has no branding tags. The dog was sent as a gift from grandmother to a new grand-daughter in the 1940s who cherished it dearly. I am not sure what breed the it was intended to resemble — perhaps a spaniel — but even though the toy predates the breed, to me it looks quite like a labradoodle.
The toy measures 10 inches tall, 6 inches wide, and 12 inches deep

The dog feels like it is stuffed with straw. The hair is quite plush and there are no tears or holes in the fabric.
