This unusual necklace features teardrop-shaped marbled turquoise resin stones. The stones are set in a sepal-shaped trio of rhinestone studded mini-leaves so that the resin stones. The setting is a silver plated alloy metal that links from piece to piece. The necklace is 43 centimetres long (16.75 inches), and the bracelet is 18 inches long (7 inches) There is no maker’s marks on the pieces, but there are mould numbers on one of the links of both pieces.
CONDITION:
All stones are present. They are affixed with glue and the reverside of the piece shows the discolouration of the glue on the back of the ‘stones’.
As mentioned, the setting is an allow base with a silver plating over top. In some areas around the hinges where the pieces rub against each other, the plating is a little worn. Also be aware that the allow base is on the softer side of the alloy spectrum. Tugging or dropping the piece on a hard surface may damage the setting.
