This rare antique desk accessory holder was made for officers in British India. It features 2 ram’s horns and brass ornamentation that includes 5 Hindu deity figures.
There is a multiple pen stand at the front with a lidded ink pot(no liner). At the top of the stand is a hook above a small brass dish where a pocket watch can hang. The topmost brass figure serves as a candle stick.
The pieces attach via drilled holes in the horns, into which screw the brass connectors and figures. It looks like piece could be ornamented with additional figures and secured even further with other brass connections as there are additional drilled holes in the horns.
Please note that due to the distance between the connectors, the piece does have a slight lean to it.
The piece measures 16 inches across, 12 inches high, and is 7 inches deep.
