Adorning the border are panels displaying charming depictions of fish, pagodas, flowers, and animals. The plate also boasts two leaf-shaped handles, one with a fly drawing and the other with a butterfly.
The plate measures 10.5 inches from handle to handle and has an 8 inch diameter. It has a 1.25 inch pedestal.
The details have wear especially the faces of the figures in the centre. The faces and hands appear to have a raised enamel on them that has chipped away. There is also general wear and age discolouration to other parts of the paint.
