This flowing tiered tassel dress is reminiscent of the 1920s flapper dress, but was more likely made in the 1980s. Along with the multiple tiers of fringe attached to the exterior of the dress, the piece has a half open back that zips from waist to hips and fastens with a button at the back of the neck. The piece has shoulder pads for structure.
The fabric is a synthetic one. It has minimal stretch, just enough to help with movement. The open back provides some flexibility around the chest.
The fringe is in good condition. Some of the individual strands may have a little stretch or be a little frayed at the tips, but not enough to ruin the effect or lines of the piece.
The piece could be easily dressed up or down with accessories.
