This beautiful unbranded compact is in very good vintage condition. The lid has a panel of patterned white Guillioche over which there is a framed hand painted floral bouquet. The lid panel is in excellent condition without chips or wear to the paint.
Inside, the compact shows some signs of use and age — there is a powder stain on the puff, and speckled patches of tarnish on the underside of the powder lid and the inside hinges. There is also a tiny dent on the lower right edge of the powder palate. These areas are shown in the pictures.
The clasps outer clasp is in very good condition and snaps shut, the clasp to the powder is functional. The mirror is in excellent shape.
