This very nice silver plate HB & H (Harrison Brothers & Howson) serving dish has a roll top domed lid. The piece is great for decor in a seasonal display or for serving surprise treats at a cocktail party or buffet with its art deco stylized feet.
Originally, the piece would have probably had an accompanying dish/tray inside and the handle to lift the lid would have had a plug made from wood or bone. We have included an ornately decorated silver plate serving spoon.
When the lid is closed, the dish is 8.5 inches tall. The width is 14 inches from handle to handle and 9 inches deep.
The lid is easily removable via side cap screws, and will be removed for shipping.
The silver plating is in very good condition without patches of wear and no deep scratches or dents on the body of the pieces. There may be a little tarnish that can be removed with non abrasive silver cleaner.
