This stunning gold beaded purse is a show-stopping accessory for a formal or holiday event. The beads are tightly sewn in a detailed design on both sides in what looks like a branch of grapes and grape leaves.
The interior creamy gold satin has a couple of faint marks, but has no signs of being used to store or carry items and there is no stretch to the fabric. The fabric is thick — distinguishing it from a lot of more contemporary beaded handbags. There is a small side pocket inside.
The cutout gold metal frame features a rhinestone studded kiss clasp. A short chain extends from the frame with a 6 inch drop length.
The purse is 7 inches across, 6 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide.
CONDITION:
The purse has only small signs of previous use and no missing or loose beads. Some of the larger gold beads have some small flecks of tarnish and wear to their coating when magnified.
There are no manufacturer’s tags, but the purse was likely made in Hong Kong.
