This earthy coloured majolica plate features a large off-centre green grape leaf against brown washed background that subtly reveals a raised relief of an array of berries and small berry flowers flowers. The back of the plate is a mottled/sponged brown and tan and has the number 14.
The plate is 8 inches in diameter.

CONDITION: — small fleck of glaze missing from near the edge on the back of the plate. — there is a small line/ tool mark at the edge od t b e front of the plate. -- on the reverse of the tool mark is a small patch at the edge which is unglazed. -- in the leaf design on the front of the plate there is a small fleck from an impurity, and a small section of the raised veins in the leaf has some wear to the glaze. -- crazing on back of plate
