This stunning pair of statement earrings from Canadian jewellery designer, Gustav Sherman, features navette/marquis cut and round Aurora Borealis stones in a light gold metal setting. The top of the earrings features a cluster of stones in the shape of a flower with a cascade of 3 (one double) strands of stones capped with a navette stone. The earrings are stamped on the back of each clasp with the patent number.
The earrings are 2.75 inches long and 1.25 inches wide.
CONDITION: The overall condition of the earrings is very good. There are some signs of wear and use. The clips are strong and can be hung from a 2mm thick piece of fabric without falling off. The stones are clear without any signs of speckling to the backing of the stones. —> NOTE: There is some tarnish on the backing of one of the earring’s cascade and small specks of tarnish and/verdigris in the setting of the clips. These areas are indicated in the photos under magnification.
