This pretty bowl is marked with the a stylized Tongzhi chop mark on the bottom. It features 4 butterflies in pink and blue against a bag round of green foliage. The interior is a lovely light turquoise.
The bowl is in good condition for its age. Wear includes light staining to the interior, and wear to the outside glaze. The bowl is made from a heavier ceramic mix like stoneware. It would be great to display fruit or nuts, but would not be suitable for cooked food.
Despite its faults it still is a striking and collectible piece.
The dimensions are 11 inches long, 8.5 inches wide, and 3 inches high.
