The piece is in good condition for its age, but does have the following faults:
— There are 2 shells along surrounding the mirror on one side that do not match the rest of the pattern and shells. These are likely old repairs. (please see pictures).
— there is a small spotty patch of blackening on the back of the mirror that marrs its surface.
— the paper/card base has minor tears and missing pieces, but the do not compromise the shells.
— the piece has a slight convex curve when placed flat against a surface.
Overall, there are aged dust stains in and between the crevices of the shells.
