This vintage aluminum jelly mould was originally used for shaping jellies and puddings. The pattern of the mould is endearingly called “tumbling pennies” because of the resemblance to a series of slightly toppled towers of coins when the jelly is revealed. The lid has two clasps that securely close it, one clasp has a hole which could have potentially been used for extra reinforcement. Some areas show slight oxidation and tarnish, so please refer to all images for a complete view.
