This great piece of vintage decor adds colour to the space as well as being a functional model of a by-gone household appliance. The toy washing machine has a crank agitator and detachable wringer. The powder blue lid is stamped with the Wolverine logo and patent pending information. The piece would have originally come with a clothesline that opened like an umbrella and stood in the matching pink base. All the remains of that is the base. The pieces will be packed in the remnants of the original box.
Assembled, the piece is just under 13 inches tall and 9 inches across (including the crank handle for the wringer.
CONDITION:
— The piece has rust spots inside and outside, small scratches, and a small dent around the rim of the basin. The extent of these are shown in the photo collages. When on display, the pink enamel paint distracts from the rust spots quite effectively.
— The box is missing one flap and another is more than half torn off. A child has drawn and scribbled on one side and the bottom. Please see collage pictures of the box.
