This classic overlay by Sylvia Heisel features a clean front with a back with an arch of box pleats and sweet details like the narrow satin cuff and French seams along the sleeves.
Fabric was not spared in this lightweight number with its double coverage of fabric on both the left and right front panels. The use of the double layers ensures the fabric falls flat due to the weight across the front and keeps the wearer warm. The back is single layer of beautiful pleats. The coat is in beautiful condition without any signs of stretch or warp.
The fabric is 100% wool and there are no front closures. It is marked a US size 10.
